CHAMPION

2023 Guest Judge:  Kate Hofman

After more than a decades experience working in both regional and commercial gallery contexts, Kate Hofman acquired Weswal in 2021.

Kate was Creative Industries Student of the Year, and Trainee of the Year at North Coast TAFE in 2012, where she studied Museums Practices and Arts Administration.

Prior to her gallery career Kate worked in property sales and studied Fashion Design at East Sydney Technical College (now NAS) in the early 2000’s.

She is also a self declared ‘ambitious amateur ceramicist’ in her (rare!) spare time.

Kate is passionate about supporting opportunities for artists and designers, and aims to continue to cultivate Weswal Gallery’s reputation as a premier cultural destination in the New England.
