The Currabubula Red Cross Art Show invites artists to exhibit their creations and support a worthwhile cause. ​​​

PAINTINGS

  1. All ONLINE ENTRY FORMS, and fees, must be received by Monday, 8 May 2023.

  2. ENTRY FEE of $15 per painting in Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

  3. PAYMENT is either via Direct Deposit (Name: Currabubula Red Cross, BSB 932-000, Account 100-488-365), or cheque/money order, which is to be payable to Currabubula Red Cross and posted to Aletia Norman, 9 Ivory Place, Hillview NSW 2340.

  4. LOCAL SECTION: Artists residing within 100km of Currabubula, or in the following postcode areas are eligible for the Local Prize:  2353, 2338 to 2346, 2352, 2380 and 2381.

  5. All artists are to complete an ONLINE ENTRY form. If this is not possible, they are to contact the Section Coordinator who will be happy to assist.

  6. All items must be for sale and details clearly labelled on the back with: Artist’s name, address, title of work, section, medium used, and price. Please download labels and attach to the back of each painting submitted.

  7. No alteration to the title, or price, will be accepted once submitted.

  8. The signed Entry Form is binding, and catalogue information will be taken only from the Entry Form. 

  9. “Untitled” is not acceptable as a title and will not be catalogued, nor put on display.

  10. The Red Cross Commission of 20% should be considered in your pricing. Net payment will be made for sold paintings by 30 June 2023.

  11. Each entry must be the original work of the artist, suitably framed or mounted.

  12. All entries must be ready to hang with hanging wire attached, and loose enough to avoid damage while hanging.

  13. All entries must be the first time shown at the Currabubula Red Cross Art Exhibition (previously shown will be rejected) and no painting may be entered in more than one section.

  14. All accepted entries are eligible for the Champion Prize.

  15. Catalogue Entries will be hung, however, the Organisers reserve the right to reject any painting deemed unsuitable for hanging. Oversized paintings (over 1m x 1m) will not be judged.

  16. The Organisers reserve the right to have any entries reproduced in the Media. The Artist is responsible for ensuring that no relevant copyright laws are infringed.

  17. All transport and insurance costs to/from and during the Exhibition must be met by the exhibitor.

  18. All care will be taken, but no liability will be accepted by Red Cross for loss, or damage in transit, or while on exhibit.

  19. All work must be securely packaged, preferably using bubble wrap or corflute cardboard. 

  20. If you are using couriers, or buses to convey artwork to depots, please: 

    1.  Note this on your Entry Form, as depots are not responsible for organising the return with couriers

    2. Delivery must be no later than 5:00pm on Friday, 19 May 2023.

  21. Delivered by hand entries are to arrive at Currabubula Hall on Monday, 22 May 2023 between 10:00am and 2:00pm.

  22. A fee of $10 return for each painting will be charged for transport to and from Currabubula and depot.  This fee must be added to the Entry Fee on your Entry Form.

  23. Collection of sold/unsold artwork in person will be:

    1. Between 4:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday, 28 May 2023

    2. Between 10:00am and 2:00pm on Monday, 29 May 2023.

  24. PHOTOGRAPHY:

  25. All ONLINE ENTRY FORMS, and fees, must be received by Monday, 8 May 2023.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

ENTRIES

1.  ENTRIES OPEN: 9:00am Friday, 14 March 2025

2.  ENTRIES CLOSE: 5:00pm Tuesday, 30 April 2025

3.  All entry forms (and payments) MUST be received by 5:00 pm, Tuesday, 30 April 2025. 
      **LATE ENTRIES ARE NOT ABLE TO BE ACCEPTED**

4.  All entries must be received ONLINE.

  • Contact the Art Coordinator for assistance or help to enter if needed.

  • Check that you have entered all relevant information on the Entry Form

5.  Entries received are binding. The catalogue information will be taken only from the Entry Form.

6.  All entries are to be showing for the first time.
7.  Paintings WILL BE REJECTED if:

  • Previously shown at an Australian Red Cross Currabubula Art Exhibition

  • Entered in more than one Section

  • Alteration made to the title or price once submitted

  • "Untitled Paintings" are unable to go into Catalogue or be displayed

8.  The Australian Red Cross commission of 20% should be included in your pricing. 
9.  Net payment(s) will be made for sold paintings by 31 July 2025.

TRANSPORT / DELIVERY / COLLECTION

12.  ALL transport and insurance costs to/from and during the Exhibition must be met by the exhibitor.
13.  ALL care will be taken, but no liability will be accepted by the Australian Red Cross,
         Currabubula Branch for loss or damage in transit or while on exhibit.
14.  ALL work must be securely packaged, preferably using bubble wrap or corflute cardboard.     
15.  MUST BE NOTED ON ENTRY FORM

  • If using couriers or buses to convey Artwork or Photography to depots – please note that depots are not responsible for organising the return with couriers.

  •  A transport fee of $10 must be included with your entry form for the return of each painting transported to and from Currabubula and the depot.

16.  HAND delivered entries are to arrive at Currabubula Hall
        on Saturday, 17 May, between 10:00am and 2:00pm.
17.  DEPOTS: Final date for acceptance at depots: Thursday, 15 May 2025.
18.  COLLECTION of sold/unsold artwork in person will be:

  • Between 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday 25 May 2025

  • Between 10:00am and 2:00pm on Monday, 26 May 2025
