The Currabubula Red Cross Art Show invites artists to exhibit their creations and support a worthwhile cause. ​​​

REGISTER NOW

  1. All ONLINE ENTRY FORMS, and fees, must be received by Monday, 8 May 2023.

  2. ENTRY FEE of $15 per painting in Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

  3. PAYMENT is either via Direct Deposit (Name: Currabubula Red Cross, BSB 932-000, Account 100-488-365), or cheque/money order, which is to be payable to Currabubula Red Cross and posted to Aletia Norman, 9 Ivory Place, Hillview NSW 2340.

  4. LOCAL SECTION: Artists residing within 100km of Currabubula, or in the following postcode areas are eligible for the Local Prize:  2353, 2338 to 2346, 2352, 2380 and 2381.

  5. All artists are to complete an ONLINE ENTRY form. If this is not possible, they are to contact the Section Coordinator who will be happy to assist.

  6. All items must be for sale and details clearly labelled on the back with: Artist’s name, address, title of work, section, medium used, and price. Please download labels and attach to the back of each painting submitted.

  7. No alteration to the title, or price, will be accepted once submitted.

  8. The signed Entry Form is binding, and catalogue information will be taken only from the Entry Form. 

  9. “Untitled” is not acceptable as a title and will not be catalogued, nor put on display.

  10. The Red Cross Commission of 20% should be considered in your pricing. Net payment will be made for sold paintings by 30 June 2023.

  11. Each entry must be the original work of the artist, suitably framed or mounted.

  12. All entries must be ready to hang with hanging wire attached, and loose enough to avoid damage while hanging.

  13. All entries must be the first time shown at the Currabubula Red Cross Art Exhibition (previously shown will be rejected) and no painting may be entered in more than one section.

  14. All accepted entries are eligible for the Champion Prize.

  15. Catalogue Entries will be hung, however, the Organisers reserve the right to reject any painting deemed unsuitable for hanging. Oversized paintings (over 1m x 1m) will not be judged.

  16. The Organisers reserve the right to have any entries reproduced in the Media. The Artist is responsible for ensuring that no relevant copyright laws are infringed.

  17. All transport and insurance costs to/from and during the Exhibition must be met by the exhibitor.

  18. All care will be taken, but no liability will be accepted by Red Cross for loss, or damage in transit, or while on exhibit.

  19. All work must be securely packaged, preferably using bubble wrap or corflute cardboard. 

  20. If you are using couriers, or buses to convey artwork to depots, please: 

    1.  Note this on your Entry Form, as depots are not responsible for organising the return with couriers

    2. Delivery must be no later than 5:00pm on Friday, 19 May 2023.

  21. Delivered by hand entries are to arrive at Currabubula Hall on Monday, 22 May 2023 between 10:00am and 2:00pm.

  22. A fee of $10 return for each painting will be charged for transport to and from Currabubula and depot.  This fee must be added to the Entry Fee on your Entry Form.

  23. Collection of sold/unsold artwork in person will be:

    1. Between 4:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday, 28 May 2023

    2. Between 10:00am and 2:00pm on Monday, 29 May 2023.

  24. PHOTOGRAPHY:

  29. All photographs must be for sale and details clearly labelled on the back with: Photographer's name, address, title of work, section, and price.

    Please download labels and attached to the back of each photograph.

  30. No alteration to the title, or price, will be accepted once submitted.

  31. The submitted Entry Form is binding, and catalogue information will be taken only from the Entry Form.

In memory of pioneers and sisters Margaret & Helen Scott and their farm "Galla". This painting should encapsulate ‘Life on the Land.’

PAINTING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Entry conditions, requirements, and size limits

ENTRY FEE: $10 per painting

  1. THEME: Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 are open “Any Subject”

  2. OPTIONAL THEME:  All Painting Sections 1-5 Prize ‘Life on the Land’ – “Galla” Prize $1,000
    In memory of pioneers and sisters Margaret & Helen Scott and their farm "Galla". To be eligible for this prize, your painting should encapsulate ‘Life on the Land.’

  3. SIZES: ​​

    • Section 1, 2, 3 & 5:  Any Subject - Maximum size 1.2m excluding frame. Limit of five paintings (one only, maximum size)

    • Section 4: MINIATURE: Any Subject - Any Medium. Maximum size 40cm perimeter excluding frame. The frame should be proportionate to the image and not exceed 122cm in perimeter.  Limit of five paintings. 

  4. LOCAL ARTIST: Artists residing within the following postcode areas: 2353, 2338, 2339, 2340, 2341, 2342, 2343, 2344, 2345, 2346, 2352, 2355, 2380 and 2381

  5. ALL ITEMS MUST BE FOR SALE, and details must be clearly labelled on the back with the artist’s name, address, title of work, section, medium used, and price.

ENTRIES

  2. ENTRIES CLOSE: 5:00pm Wednesday, 6 May 2026

  3. All entry forms (and payments) MUST be received by 5:00pm Wednesday, 6 May 2026.
    **NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED – NO EXCEPTIONS**

  4. ENTRY FEES:  $10 entry fee per item

    • Painting Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5

    • Photography Sections 6 & 7

  5. All entries must be received ONLINE or by EMAIL to artshow@currabubulaartshow.com.au 

    • If this is not possible, please contact the Event Coordinator for assistance.

    • Check that you have entered all relevant information on the Entry form

  6. Entries received are binding. The catalogue information will be taken only from the Entry Form.

  7. All entries are to be showing for the first time.

  8. Paintings will NOT BE ACCEPTED if:

    • Entered in more than one section

    • Oversized paintings (over 1.2m x 1.2m) will NOT be accepted

  9.  The title or price cannot be altered once submitted

  10. “Untitled” items cannot be added to the catalogue or displayed.

  11. The Australian Red Cross Commission of 25% should be included in your pricing.

  12. Net payment(s) will be made for sold paintings by 30 June 2026.

TRANSPORT / DELIVERY / COLLECTION

15. The exhibitors must meet ALL transport and insurance costs to/from and during the Exhibition.

16. ALL care will be taken, but the Australian Red Cross, Currabubula Branch, will not accept liability for loss or damage in transit or while on exhibit.

17. ALL work must be securely packaged using bubble wrap or corflute cardboard.

18. MUST BE NOTED ON ENTRY FORM

  • If couriers or buses are used to convey artwork or photography to depots, please note that depots are not responsible for organising the return with couriers.

  • A transport fee of $10 must be included with your entry form for the return of each painting transported to and from Currabubula and the depot.

19. HAND delivered entries are to arrive at Currabubula Hall on Saturday, 16 May 2026 between 10am and 2pm.

20. DEPOTS:  Final date for acceptance at a depot: 5pm Thursday, 14 May 2026.
